Once you are done, click the x icon to get out of historical imagery. Once a new window opens, change the date and timeġ1. To go to a particular date and time in the past, click on the tool icon found on the slider.ĩ. As you move the slider, the map will load it according to the particular time period.Ĩ. Once you see a slider appear on the top left corner of the map, move the slider backwards to move back in time.ħ. Select Historical Imagery for you to be able to view historical satellite images of the earth.Ħ. To be able to view better, zoom into the map using magnifying tool or the mouse wheel on the right side of the screen.Ĥ. Just tap the arrow icon to change it to one of three cars: a pickup truck, car or SUV.3. You’ll just have to be in navigation mode. If you’re bored by the blue navigation icon, you can change it in a second. Then, tap Start to head there before someone else snatches it up. Just hit Directions, click the P and select Find parking. ![]() You can even use it to find parking spots. It’s impressive to see how much Google Maps can do. It won’t send notifications, use your activity for personalization or update your Location History. Google Maps won’t save your browsing or search history when using this mode. I love this feature since I have spent 15 minutes wandering around the wrong side of a parking lot looking for my car in the past.
